Retirement Resources President, Dave Boike Writes About The Many Blessings Everyone Can Be Thankful
Retirement Resources President and Investment Advisor, Dave Boike, tells his readers that the way the Thanksgiving holiday may be celebrated this year is likely to be different than in years past, but that the reason for the celebration is even more poignant due to the pandemic.
Auburn Hills, MI — October 16, 2020— Dave Boike, President of Retirement Resources and co-author of The Ultimate Success Guide with Brian Tracy published a new blog post on the company website entitled, “Let’s Be Thankful For The Many Blessings Of A Lifetime.” Mr. Boike recognizes this year’s holiday season will be different in many ways, yet acknowledges the greater emphasis on the importance of why we celebrate the way we do.
Boike states, “We are coming up to our beloved holiday season rich with traditions in a year that is anything but traditional that will definitely pose challenges for many.” He elaborates, “Thanksgiving is the holiday that traditionally draws families and friends close together. We cozy up around the dinner table with our traditional feast to give thanks for the many blessings bestowed throughout the year. And,” he adds, “while COVID-19 may change the way we celebrate this year, it is my sincerest hope that it won’t change why we celebrate. Even in the midst of this pandemic, despite the many challenges, we still have many blessings that we’ve enjoyed over our lifetimes for which we can give thanks in this unprecedented year.”
As Boike points out, “Everyone is facing challenges we never imagined we would be dealing with. Many may be facing the loss of loved ones.” Though according to Boike, “No matter how difficult the challenges seem at the moment, we are resilient, strong beings and we will get through this.” He concludes that, “Counting our blessings and appreciating the life and love that has been bestowed upon us is how we will overcome this and any other challenge that may come our way.”
