Let Financial Freedom Ring

We’ve celebrated one of my all-time favorite holidays earlier this month -- Independence Day. “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” are three examples of the unalienable rights which the Declaration of Independence says has been given to all humans by our Creator, and which governments are created to protect.
Isn’t it wonderful that we live in the country that gives everyone the right to pursue happiness whatever that means to every individual? Whatever happiness means to you, you have the right to pursue it. Well, within reason, as long as it isn’t hurting someone else or breaking other laws.
For Many People Financial Freedom Means Never Having To Worry About Money
We all have different lifestyles. Everyone isn’t going to be motivated by the same things, nor is everyone striving for the same things. However, for those of you who are motivated to achieve a retirement in which you are financially free and in which you can live in the same style and comfort that you have worked for, I hope you have a good financial planner and have a plan in place.
Freedom Of Any Kind Depends On A Plan
Our freedom as a nation was planned the terms of that freedom were written down in the Constitution, as was the Declaration of Independence. Likewise, any plan that is important and has meaning long-term, needs to be written down. When you put something in writing, you make it more tangible. A written idea is one step further than something you’ve thought about. And, when you look at that idea written on paper, you can also write down the steps you’ll take that will lead you to the fulfillment of that idea.
Fight For Your Financial Freedom
I don’t mean to start a war with someone. I mean it may be difficult to stick to your plan. So you’ll have to fight your own tendencies to ignore your plan or to not adhere to your savings and investment plan when times get tough. But, if you really want financial freedom in your retirement years, you’ll be required to demonstrate some toughness with yourself on the journey toward that goal.
A reputable financial planner isn’t going to create a plan that will be spreading you too thin. But occasionally life throws us challenges that might try to throw us off track. It takes diligence and a strong desire to make your financial goal more dominant than putting on a façade so that you can “keep up with the Joneses.” Your own personal values are always first and foremost when you work with a reputable financial planner. They’ll help keep you focused on your goal and help keep your investments safe during volatile economic times.
Pursuing Financial Freedom Is A Privilege And An Inalienable Right
No one can prevent you from pursuing financial freedom. We all have that right. So, if that is something you truly desire, I applaud you and encourage you to go for it. And, whether you are a few years from retirement or currently retired, our goal is to help protect the wealth that you have spent a lifetime accumulating while still being able to draw the income that meets your needs.
