Retirement Resources President and Investment Advisor, Dave Boike, agrees that vacations are important but emphasizes that planning one’s financial future is even more important.

Auburn Hills, MI — June 14, 2019— Dave Boike, President of Retirement Resources and co-author of The Ultimate Success Guide with Brian Tracy published a new blog post on the company website entitled, “Planning The Journey Of A Lifetime” in which Mr. Boike reveals that most people put more time and energy into planning vacations that their lives.

Boike states, “Summer vacations are the big topic right about now.” He continues, “Many of this summer’s dream vacations have already been planned. Some have already been taken and are just a memory.”

According to Boike, “A tremendous amount of time and energy goes into planning vacations. In fact, in my experience I’ve observed that more people spend a greater amount of time and energy planning their vacations than they do planning the journey of their lives.”

“Don’t get me wrong,” says Boike, adding, “I love vacations and we all need them. However, from my perspective the financial journey of life is the most exciting adventure to plan.”

Boke points out, “A well thought out and executed financial plan is your map to anywhere you will ever want to go. When you make your financial plan a priority, you may not have the most exotic vacations initially, but down the road you’ll have greater and more luxurious options, if that’s your style.”
