A Labor Of Love

I’ve heard it said and I’ve experienced it myself that when you love what you do you never work a day in your life! I find great truth in this statement and as we approach Labor Day, I want to share my labor of love with you.
For The Love Of Helping People Achieve Financial Goals
I love helping people achieve their financial goals. When I am engaged in this activity I never get tired, bored or disenchanted. This is what I leap out of bed for everyday filled with enthusiasm. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
In fact, my business is a family affair. My wife joined me when I left my job with a large financial company to start my own company. Down the road, my two sons also came on board. We each derive great pleasure from helping other families achieve their financial goals in our individual roles within the company. Even though we work together and spend most of our time together, it doesn’t feel like work at all. It’s pure fun.
We Are On A Mission To Help Others
When you love what you do, you are probably helping someone else. We think of ways that we can help everyone we work with on a day-to-day basis, as well as our long-term clients and prospective clients. Our firm is based on four principles which I love sharing.
1. Always Do The Right Thing.
Biblical principles of honesty and integrity have always guided us. We work hard to show our clients they can truly trust us to keep their best interests in mind.
2. Make A Difference.
We sincerely desire to make a big impact for good in our clients’ financial lives. We understand that we cannot be all things to all people, so we only accept new clients that we know we can help.
3. Truly Care About People.
Everybody says they provide great service. At Retirement Resources, “service” is not just a department of our business; it is our business.
4. Surround Ourselves With Successful People.
We believe an individual, team or business is only as strong as its partners. We have assembled a staff of highly talented and committed professionals to help us serve our clients.
Whether you are a few years from retirement or currently retired, our goal is to help protect the wealth that you have spent a lifetime accumulating while still being able to draw the income that meets your needs. We look closely at all major aspects of your retirement life from Taxes to Social Security to Estate Planning and design a custom plan that fits your financial goals.
The Importance of Labor Day
Amid the final barbeques at the close of the summer season, it is my hope that you are relaxed and settled into the work you love. If you are still working, I hope that the work you are doing is rewarding you financially and that when you retire you will continue to be rewarded financially by having a strong, well thought out retirement plan in place. If you are retired, it is my hope that your hard-earned monies are working as hard for you as you did for it. I hope that whatever you are doing in or out of retirement is a labor of love.
The Purpose of Labor Day
As another summer ends, let us be grateful for the goodness in our lives. Let us appreciate the fact that our country recognizes the contributions we all make to our great nation.
“Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.” https://www.dol.gov/general/laborday/history
